Luis Loweree said his primary goal as a teacher is to teach students other things rather than just a subject.

“My main goal as a teacher is to teach students how to learn for themselves, to teach students the material for the class that they’re in, and to prepare students for life outside school,” Loweree said

Mr. Loweree said that a lot of his coworkers and family members inspired him to become a teacher.

“The people that I worked with when I was a tutor inspired me to stay in the educational field as a teacher… and plus my uncle, my grandparents, my cousins, and I have a lot of family that are teachers that were encouraging me as well,” Loweree said

Mr. Loweree said that the accomplishments he is most proud of in teaching are the relationships that he made.

“I think just the friendships and relationships that I developed with my coworkers, with my students, with the people that I work with that’s the thing that I’m most proud of… the relationships that I made with these people,” Loweree said

Mr. Loweree said that he would like to teach other subjects if he wasn’t teaching the subject that he is currently teaching.

“Yes, I would like to teach other subjects that are in the school, some of them that interest me , psychology, maybe fine arts, even though I am not very educated in that, I find myself very interested and I would love to teach maybe some art classes, music classes, also since I am a coach, PE sounds fun to teach,” Loweree said

Mr. Loweree said that he is worried about the future but he always thinks about the things that are in his control.

“I’m an anxious and nervous person, I do everything I can so that things don’t go wrong it yes I always worry about things going wrong but I just need to think about the things I can control, do as much as I can and then let everything else take care of itself,”  Loweree said
