Friendzone (In a Good Way)

Many fear the dreary “friendzone,” but for this pair, it was just right. The Growler caught up with a pair of friends to ask how they get along.

Antony Lamas and Iris Monarrez, 12 have created a strong bond since they first met over a year ago in their physics class with Mr. Carrillo while in a lab. They always hung out everyday at school, and the bond has been getting stronger ever since. They first met in physics class while doing a lab.

“I remember she was laughing a lot, and I thought she was fun. So, I started talking to her, and we just ended up talking ever since,” said Lamas.

“He was really quiet and since I’m a very energetic person, I wasn’t going to let him be bored”, Monarrez said.

The friends have created up many great memories since they first met. One of them is when they went did a friend reunion at Lamas’ house, which involved many activities.

According to the two friends, they both get along very well because they are both into crazy things other would think twice before even trying. Although they do crazy things, they do have plans not as crazy as they usually do. They’re planning to go straight to becoming a Miner.

“My dream has always been on going to a university, and it’s gonna become a better dream with a great friend as Iris,” Lamas said.

They have been friends for a year and they keep their problems to the side. The friends said that they have never gotten into an argument.After a year and many memorable moments, the friends still keep having a good times with good vibes.
