Mr. Pardo, the broadcasting teacher who is an appreciable person with a great personality. Always trying to show us the foremost things about what he knows.

“I wanted to make a difference with the students,” broadcasting teacher Mr. Pardo said.

Mr. Pardo began working at a television station about 10-15 years ago but ended up in the teaching realm when he decided he would rather help people.

“Many events where I see students needed help, that idea started to grow on me,” Mr. Pardo said.

Mr. Pardo said that his schooling was very important because he was at UTEP. 

“I acquired a bachelor’s degree in communications, one in Spanish and then I finished my Master’s in Education Leadership,” Mr. Pardo said.

Mr. Pardo said he teaches broadcasting so it keeps him very busy around school, especially during school events. However, he does keep himself active by playing in a band, and he participates in his daughter’s school activities.

“My family, daughters as they go through school and now my oldest daughter, that is in 12th grade, she is  going to college next year,” Mr. Pardo said.

Mr. Pardo said those are some accomplishments in life that he is most proud of.

“My accomplishments in teaching are when I see students that can create something in my broadcasting class,” Mr. Pardo said.

Mr. Pardo said that re-doing work takes some time and it may take many forms of effort but staying positive is his piece of advice he’d share.

“Well, I would say ‘Stay focus to what you believe in, what you want, don’t think that you are going to get a rework,” Mr. Pardo said.
