The annual UIL elementary school competition returned to Bowie April 27 with over 500 students attending city wide. They competed in English/Spanish oral reading, English/Spanish storytelling, music memory, ready writing, math and chess. Here’s some photos from the events as they not only competed, but took advantage of the chalk the block event and enjoyed the campus scenery.
