Claudia Flores 11, a basketball player who plans to make it to district and graduate. The Growler caught up with Flores to tell us how she feels about the basketball team.

Q: How do you think the basketball girls are doing this year?

A: I think we’re doing amazing, I really think the season is doing better

 

Q: What do you think is your biggest weakness and how are you planning to solve it?

A: When people say what I can do I motivate myself

 

Q: Do you guys motivate each other when you are losing the game?

A: Yes

 

Q: What do you think of the players?

A: They’re strong and they believe in themselves as long as they help each other

 

Q: What makes you lady’s win a game and what skills, techniques?

A: Defense makes us win games

 

Q: What do you think about the coach?

A: She a very strong motivational women

 

Q: If basketball didn’t exist at Bowie how would you feel?

A: I would feel sad and worthless if i didn’t have something that I really love by my side

 

Q: What inspired  you to play basketball?

A: My dad because I would play with him since i was little

 

Q: What does basketball mean to you?

A: Basketball means a lot to me, it’s like a part of my life

 

Q: What do you lady’s do when you girls are losing the game?

A: We soak it up and cheer one another.
