Oscar Pinon is a guy who has a special place in his heart for music. Listening to music is a special thing he requires in a everyday life.

Some of the artists that inspire him are EDEN, Skrillex, San Holo, and Mastodon. He started playing the guitar last year around Christmas. One of his favorites artists EDEN plays it and it really caught his attention.
“I had no knowledge on how to play guitar, I learned how to play with youtube tutorials.”

When Pinon sets up to play guitar, he is usually on his bed, he sits criss-cross applesauce and then he grabs his guitar and props it on his legs.
He usually warms up by playing songs he already knows on the guitar. Then he will get started on songs he is in the process of learning. For Pinon music has a big place in his heart.
“It’s been there at my hardest time so I feel strongly about it,” he said.
Pinon started doing mixes since Christmas of 2016, he has been trying new things and pushing himself to one-day success.

He really doesn’t focus a lot on his future but he does see himself doing the same thing as now. If he ever makes music he said he would like for people to take every motion out there from it. He will keep on trying without listening to negative comments as he said “I don’t think too much about it, I’ll just go for it.”

Ms. Maria Iniguez, Pinon physics teacher who interacts with him on daily basis.
“I would describe Oscar as a good student, a little absent minded and tragic but good nature”. Iniguez also said that Oscar is not a mean person at all and for her, that’s his best quality.”Mrs. Iniguez said.
Iniguez says she can see the growth in Pinon, she says it looks like he’s starting to mature.
What Iniguez likes the most of oscar is his attitude. “ His attitude is positive, he’s never had a negative attitude.”
“If he really sits down and focuses he can go to college and finish, he just needs to focus,” Iniguez says.
