Alan Sustaita is one of Bowie’s most important varsity Goalkeepers. He is one of Last year’s soccer player who won District Championship, Bi-District Championship, Area Championship, and Regional Championship. Alan played very important games as a goalkeeper and saved the soccer varsity any times. Also, he is one of the most important Broadcasters. He recorded many of Bowie’s most important moments.
“One of the Main things that motivated me to be in soccer is that I always wanted to do something for my school,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that thanks to God he went to tryouts and luckily got the chance to be part of the Soccer team.
“I realized that it was one of the things I liked the most,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that thankfully the counselors one day changed his schedule because even though he didn’t know anything about broadcasting, it turned into something he loved and now plans to study in college.
“When something is not going right, my teammates help me out of it,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that one of the biggest lessons soccer has taught his was friendship.
“It has taught me that if I set my mind on something it can be achieved no matter what people’s thoughts are towards me,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that broadcasting has taught him that anything in life can be achieved if you set your mind on it.
“When I have problems I go out and play soccer and it is where I can yell at everyone,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that he enjoys playing soccer because it is part of his Mexican culture and is something he has been playing since he was a kid.
“For me, it is also a distraction as well,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that he enjoys broadcasting because when he hops on a computer and starts editing a video it distracts him from his problems.
“My favorite experience in soccer is when we became district champions, bi-district, and area,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that one of his favorite experiences about being in the soccer team was when he and his team accomplished many things this past soccer season.”
“That thanks to my effort I was able to get a free trip to Dallas and college classes,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that his favorite experience in broadcasting was when thanks to his efforts he was able to get a free college trip.
“My favorite thing about Broadcasting is editing,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that this favorite things about broadcasting is editing because it distracts him from his problems.
“My favorite thing about soccer is playing,” Alan Sustaita said.
Sustaita said that his favorite thing about being in soccer is playing because it also serves as a distraction.
“ I think Alan is very important to the team, without a good goalkeeper you’re gonna have the season,” Arnold McElroy said.
Mr. McElroy said that he feels Alan is a good goalkeeper, the goalkeeper is one or two most important players on the team.
“he’s very responsible and he makes sure he’s passing most of the time,” Arnold McElroy said.

Mr. McElroy said one of the things that makes Alan Sustaita stand out from other students is that he is usually eligible most of the time and he doesn’t have to worry if his grades are good or not.
“I guess that he’s a pretty decent student which is good, all want players that can pass, and his reflexes are pretty good which is what you need to be a goalkeeper you need quick reflexes,” Arnold McElroy said.
Mr. McElroy said that what’s interesting him about Alan Sustaita is that he is an excellent soccer player.
“ He needs to be able to hold on to the ball he’s very good at blocking shots but he needs to be able to hold on the ball and not give up rebounds his distribution needs to be better he’ll make a shot he’ll get possession of the ball but then he has trouble deciding where to pass the ball out to his decisions need to be a lot quicker,” Arnold McElroy said.
McElroy said that even though Alan Sustaita is an excellent player he can always have improvements in his soccer performance.
“That he’s actually concerned about his grades he’s not happy when he’s not passing and he’ll go to tutoring and hell do extra work to make sure he’s passing,” Arnold McElroy said.
Mr. McElroy said that what makes Alan Sustaita a good student is the fact that he is constantly worrying about his grades.
“Alan is a good Goalkeeper and good friend,” Jacob Ortiz said.
Ortiz said that Alan is a very honest friend and he tells you the things how they are.
“We are teammates inside the soccer field and we have to get along,” Jacob Ortiz said.
Ortiz said that his relationship is very important with Alan because he has to communicate well with him in the soccer field.
“We have a really good relationship,” Jacob Ortiz said.
Ortiz said that his relationship with Alan is really good because Alan supports him no matter what.
“Alan is a really sincere friend to talk to,” Jacob Ortiz said.
Ortiz said that Alan says the things straight up and how they are.
“I know Alan since last year soccer season,” Jacob Orit said,
Ortiz said that he played with Alan since last year and they got along pretty well.
