Dora Mendoza it’s a girl that since she started her high school she faced with many obstacles, she started this experience without have any knowledge of english, she need cross the border every morning, but however she put all the effort in everything she do and now Dora is in the top ten of her class.
This year was exceptional for Dora because she know people that help in everything she have good teachers and she make new friends
“My experience in senior year, was very well, I have  good teachers and I make good friends, that help me in everything,” Mendoza said.
Mendoza said that she want continue with her studies when she graduate, she want to the college and finish a career “My goals for now is still with my studies and for the future is go to college and ends a career,” Mendoza said.
Mendoza said that is important always overcome herself, be the best, sometimes everything looks easy but you need to be prepare to support the obstacles that appear in your life, it is a learn that the life teach her. “Something that leave a mark in my life is that I always have to overcome myself, because although things are not easy as they seem, there are always obstacles that must be faced for be able to advance,” Mendoza said.
When Dora come to Bowie High School, she knows just a lit bit of English, was very uncomfortable moments when she needs to write or talk with someone in English she felt insecure, that was an obstacle that she overcome.” Some obstacles that i had was that I don’t like speak and write in english, so i had a little trouble in that,” Mendoza said.
However, Dora take advantage of this year and each apprehensions for be a better person and best student than she was before she come to High School. “That I learned a lot, and those apprehensions change the person that I am now,” Mendoza said.
In the future Dora wants to go to the college and finish a career, she wish to go to UTEP and study medicine. This was an amazing experience for Dora she has excellent teachers and good friends, she learn a lot of thing that make she a better persons, more smart and humble, but she can’t do any of this thing without help from her family, friends and teachers “to my teachers and friends, they always stay with me, i want to say thank you so much for everything that they make for me.”

1. How you describe your senior year? My experience in senior year, was very well, I have  good teachers and I make good friends, that help me in everything.
2. Which are your goals now and for the future? My goals for now is still with my studies and for the future is go to college and ends a career
3. What is an experience that leave a mark in this four years? Something that leave a mark in my life is that I always have to overcome myself, because although things are not easy as they seem, there are always obstacles that must be faced for be able to advance.
4. Do you want  change something of your high school experience? No, I think that was a very good experience

6. What teaching the school leave? That you never have to give up and that you always have to surpass yourself for you can be able to achieve your goals.
7. Which is your motivation/inspiration? My motivation is my family because they always stay with me and support me in everything.
8. What changes do you notice from your first year until now? That I learned a lot, and those apprehensions change the person that I am now.
9. What are your plans for the future? To continue with my studies and co to college to had a career
