National Winnie the Pooh Day

National+Winnie+the+Pooh+Day

Today marked Winnie the Pooh Day, in celebration of the author’s birthday. So a few students that love the bear and all its characters gave the Growler the reasons why they mean so much to them.

“Winnie the Pooh” is my favorite character because he’s always happy like me. Pooh is funny and is always trying to see his friends happy. Pooh is also always getting into trouble just like me. I think I started liking Winnie the Pooh when I was a little baby because my mom has pictures of me dressed like Winnie the Pooh and I have many blankets from him when I was little.

“Eeyore” is my personal favorite character because he’s really chill and lazy. Honestly, I’m always being lazy and getting in trouble by my mom because I’m always laying down in bed. Also, Eeyore looks like he’s always depressed so I can also relate to him and that’s another reason as to why I like him. Ever since I was in kindergarten I’ve watched Pooh and still until this day when I have nothing to do I watch it. Eeyore will forever be my favorite character.
