The Fluffy Comes to Bowie

Bowie High School was given a special opportunity to host a very important guest speaker to address state testing and life. Operation Hope is who brought Gabriel Iglesias to Bowie to talk to students about how important life is and it does not matter where students come from, it matters that students give it their best and succeed. “Everything that Bowie did today exceeded our expectations… [Bowie] really stepped up their game and gave us more than we thought, we thought it would be just simple but [Bowie] had their Alumnis step in to make this a very magical event,” Ruby Gomez said. This surprise event for the students and teachers was a success and students were motivated to pass their state test and embrace who they are and where they come from no matter how tough their situation may be.
